Our SWAT (Superior Winning Attitude) Team is all about teaching our future black belts about leadership, positive attitudes, the art of instruction, and how to set an example to the younger dojo students.  This team of elite students meet once a month to sharpen their skills. During the monthly meetings the students are taught leadership development, how to teach and relate the karate material to others, the importance of philanthropy through community projects, and positive team building.

To join the SWAT Team, students must possess the following requirements:

•  Must show exemplary behavior while on the dojo floor
• Must be a purple belt or above
• Must be 10 or older 
• Keep a school GPA of 3.0 or above
  
• Have good behavior at school and home 
  
• Have an interest in learning how to teach other's Shorin Ryu Karate
  

This is a responsibility that should not be taken lightly. 

Students interested in joining the SWAT Team and who have met the requirements, should express interest to Kyoshi or an existing SWAT Team member.
